We are pleased to inform you that the above event has been organised to
celebrate Prof Raul Feijoo´s 60th birthday.
With qualities such as his remarkable sharpness of mind, intelligence,
righteousness, generosity and an unbounded dedication to his work, Raul has
made outstanding contributions to the development of Theoretical, Applied
and Computational Mechanics. His contributions include a wide range of
activities such as research, teaching, development of human resources,
supervision of research students, coordination of research projects and the
organisation of scientific meetings and conferences. Our purpose in
organising this event is to express our admiration and recognition for
Raul´s achievements.
The programme of the meeting will consist mainly of talks by the following
distinguished invited speakers:
